Registration Information 

In order to register for the conference, you must be a current member of IWC. Register for the 2019 Conference in one of two ways:

Online

On 1 Feb 2019, online registration will be enabled by 6 am. You do not need to be hovering over the keyboard at that time, because all registrations received on that day, and all received by mail before and on that day, are considered equally. See the Class Selection page for more information.

If you register online, you can pay one of three ways:

  • Online using Pay Pal
  • Online using a credit card
  • Mail in a check

Registration Book

 Each attendee is responsible for their lodging and meals. Options for both are provided by Fort Lewis College. The 2019 Registration Book has information about how to reserve lodging and how to purchase meal tickets at Fort Lewis College. There is other important information in the Registration Book such as the schedule of events.

    Use these pages to register for one or more one day classes at IWC. Registration will be enabled on 1 Feb 2019. Notification of assigned classes will start on 8 April 2019. Please select a second choice for each one day class in case your first choice is filled or is cancelled.

    You must be a current Individual, Family, Friend or Patron member to sign up for the Conference.

    Registration for at least one class allows you to attend all the conference events.

    Any material fees are paid to the instructor in the class.

    You agree that any photographs or video footage taken during the conference, that includes your picture or your artwork, may be used by the Intermountain Weavers Conference for publicity purposes.

    When registering online, you can either pay using Paypal or you can mail in a check. You do not have to be a member of PayPal to use this service to pay for your registration.

    Payment of registration fees can be made in full when submitting the registration form, or a partial payment of $200 may be sent with the remainder due by March 24, 2019. If the total balance is less than $200, it must be paid in full. PayPal registration must be paid in full.

    Refunds will be given when received in writing by March 24, 2017, minus a $40 cancellation fee. After that date,no refunds will be given. By registering for the conference, you agree to the above.

    Register

    The IWC Market will again be an important part of the Intermountain Weavers Conference at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive, Durango, CO 81301. The Market will be located in the Student Union Ballroom during the July 25-28, 2019 conference.

    Booth Dimensions and Fees: Booth spaces are 10 ft. x 10 ft. at $125 each. One table 8 ft. x 4 ft. and two chairs per booth are provided. (The number of chairs for multiple booths will be adjusted according to your needs.) Pole and drape to separate booths are also provided. Additional tables can be rented for $10 per table, or you may bring your own.

    Important Dates:

    1 May 2019. Last day to register for a IWC Market booth and be listed in the Conference booklet.

    1 June 2019. Last day to register for a IWC Market booth (vendor will not be listed in the Conference booklet).

    Application Process:  Registration will not be considered complete until we have received the online registration and the payment.

    Booth Assignments: Booth assignments will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis, determined by registration date. Final space assignments will be made at the discretion of IWC.

    Cancellation Policy: If you find that you will be unable to attend, on written request, Intermountain Weavers Conference will refund 50% of fees for cancellations between March 1 and May 1, 2019. No refunds will be given after May 1, 2019.

    Market Hours: Market hours are tentatively set to coincide with times when registrants are free to shop: Thursday 1:00 – 6:00 PM, Friday 11 AM – 8:00 PM, and Saturday 11 AM – 6:00 PM. Hours are longer on Friday to allow the public and conference participants who are not in class time to shop. There will be local advertising to attract the general public.

    Events and Workshops: We invite our vendors to join us for IWC activities such as the opening Keynote Address, Exhibits, and our Fashion Show. We will have 1- and 3-day workshops during the conference and vendors are welcome to register and attend, provided they are confident that their booth will be covered in their absence. Workshop registration will be online at:

    Accommodations: Information on a full range of accommodations in the Durango area --including hotels, motels, RV parks and campgrounds-- is available at www.durango.org. Accommodations at a very reasonable rate are also available through Fort Lewis College. Call Greg Weiss, FLC Conference Services, at 970-247-7372 for information and/or to make a reservation.     Tax and Licensing Information: All state and local taxes and licensing are the responsibility of the individual vendor. The current sales tax in Durango is 7.9%. Sales tax and licensing information and forms are available at www.durangogov.org and www.colorado.gov/revenue .
